National Parks

There are plenty of things that simply suck in the US, but National Parks make it up. For a comprehensive set of pictures from our trip, check Katarina's Picasa page. For a special selection, check mine.
The sky was like I have never seen. Grand Canyon is simply unbelievable, and so are Sequoia trees. And Yosemite valley is just beautiful.

What can be better?

You fast descend through park with unique, old and beautiful pines; sun is slowing setting bellow the horizon, wind is gently cooling you down and from distance, you hear waves hitting the beach.
It's even better if you enjoy it.

Joshua Tree

On Saturday, we visited Joshua Tree National Park, which is famous, as the name suggests for Joshua Tree. We did not have much time, so we made only a couple of very short hikes. We did enjoy beautiful view over the sunset, Imperial Valley and the valley that funnels the smog from the Los Angeles basin. Pictures will be at Picasa soon.
